Tidepool Tim says, "The American lobster is an important staple of the Maine commercial fishing economy. The American lobster is found along the coast from North Carolina to Labrador, eating and exploring the seabed. They make their homes tucked within rock crevices to avoid predators. As juveniles, this is where they'll spend most of their time. If they cant find rocks for cover, young lobsters will burrow in sand and mud."
