Tidepool Tim says, “For years, I never knew that these anemones inhabited our part of the coastline. One day I was late getting down to the beach and the rising tide forced me to do my collecting mid-way up in the heavy knotted wrack beds. By chance, I found a small tidepool about 2' long and 6" wide - a mere crack in the ledge. Close inspection revealed these tiny gray anemones living there. It was a great day - I added another species to my list! Now that I know where to look - I can find them in many spots around Cobscook Bay.”
