Our bloodworms are packed in fresh, wet “worm-weed”. Packed in plant-based compostable tubs. All worms are dug fresh to order the day before shipping for best quality. There will be a range of sizes in each dozen. Worms are best kept on ice from 32-38 degrees F. and best to inspect them daily for any that may be dead or dying as one bad worm can spoil the rest. Rinse in fresh seawater as needed and keep in low flat container with worm-weed. These worms can last for weeks in refrigeration and tended carefully.
