Because seafood products require different handling depending on whether they are live, fresh, frozen, or dried, please find your product below for specific storage and handling instructions.
Please open your package promptly upon delivery.

Upon Arrival:
Open your package promptly.
Remove the lobster from the shipping container.
Keep lobster cold and refrigerated until ready to cook.
Keep lobster well ventilated.
Do not place live lobster in fresh water.
Do not freeze.
Do not store in an airtight container.
Before Cooking
Live lobster should be cooked as soon as reasonably possible after arrival.
Important: Do not rely on smell alone to determine whether live seafood is safe. If your lobster arrives unusually warm, damaged, or appears to be deceased upon arrival, photograph the lobster and packaging and contact us before discarding anything.

Keep crabs well ventilated.
Do not place live crabs in fresh water.
Do not freeze live crabs.
Do not store in an airtight container.
Before Cooking
Cook as soon as reasonably possible after arrival.
If you have a concern about the condition of your crabs when they arrive, photograph the package before discarding anything and contact us.

Provide ventilation — do not seal them in an airtight container.
Use/cook as soon as possible.

Freezing
If you aren't going to use it within the recommended refrigerated storage period, freeze as soon as possible. Crab meat can be safely frozen for 2-3 months for best results, and can last up to 6 months while still being safe to eat.
Thawing
If frozen, thaw in the refrigerator rather than at room temperature.

Use promptly or freeze for longer storage.
Freezing
Freeze your fresh scallops last as soon as possible.
Frozen scallops can last for up to 3-6 months in the freezer for the best taste and quality.
Thawing
If frozen, thaw scallops in the refrigerator.
Do not thaw seafood at room temperature.

Refrigerate promptly.
Keep cold until ready to use.
Keep in its original packaging or a clean, covered container.
Rinse/soak thoroughly before use to get rid of any remaining sand or ocean debris.
Use within 3-5 days.
Fresh seaweed is perishable and should remain refrigerated in a breathable container.

Keep tightly sealed when not in use.
Protect from moisture and humidity.
Keep away from direct sunlight.

If your product arrives frozen:
Transfer it to your freezer promptly.
Keep frozen until ready to use.
For best quality, maintain your freezer at 0°F or below.
Thaw frozen seafood in the refrigerator.
Once thawed, keep refrigerated and use promptly.
Never freeze live seafood.
Shipping & Delivery
Some melting is normal
Your order is packed with cold packs/insulated packaging to keep it cool during transit. Some melting of ice packs during shipping is normal.
When your package arrives:
Open it promptly.
Check your product and packaging.
Refrigerate or freeze products according to the instructions above.
Keep the packaging until you've inspected your order.
