WINKIES – Fresh Periwinkle Snails (1.5 lbs, 90–110 Count)

Our WINKIES — locally known as “rinkles” — are hand-harvested from the rocky shores of Cobscook Bay and the Downeast Maine coastline. These small, flavorful periwinkle snails are a true coastal delicacy, prized for their rich, briny flavor and tender texture.

The best “winkies” are collected during the extreme tides of the full and new moon, when the rocky intertidal zone reveals its freshest bounty.

Simply rinse, steam, and pick with a toothpick — we recommend serving with lemon and garlic butter for a true Maine-style snack. Perfect as a gourmet appetizer, bar snack, or party treat.

Care & Storage:
Keep refrigerated in the original container for up to two weeks. Rinse in the container twice weekly for best results.
